Colorblock Maggie Top

I’m really crushing on this shirt I made for my daughter.  Originally I was pulling these fabrics together to make a shirt for myself.  But I just couldn’t get my pieces cut out of the scraps I was working with.  So I pulled out the pattern for the BSD Maggie Top I used for the Layered Ruffle Tee at the beginning of the year and set to work! Halloween Costumes 2018

Phew!  Another Halloween in the books!  We ended up with a black cat (hence the tutorial for a simple cat tail), a Paladin of Voltron (Lance to be specific), Rayla from Dragon Prince (see more details on that costume here), and a Ranger from the book series Ranger’s Apprentice.  Halloween 2018 ended up with very happy children which makes for a happy mom! My oldest daughter was all over the place this year as far as what she wanted to dress up as.  Hermoine, then a ranger–pretty much whatever book she was currently reading. Maggie Peplum Top Hack
