Color Blocked Deer Creek and Sleeve Cuff Hack

Since testing the girl’s Deer Creek Dress on my daughter a year and a half ago, I have made tons of Deer Creek Dresses and tunics.  For me, my daughter, my friends, and even people who become my friends because of this dress.  (yes, I’m talking about you Miranda!)  But this color/stripe blocked Deer Creek Dress with a sleeve cuff hack is hands down my absolute favorite! Striped Ruffle Tunic

Nut #2 has outgrown a couple of the cute shirts I made her at the beginning of the year.  So I whipped up a tunic for her.  It was a bit risky since I never know what she’ll like.  However, she really likes it! I started with the New Horizon Designs Deer Creek Tunic bodice pieces and extended them about 5 inches.  I also extended the sleeve area a little because she seems to have inherited my wide shoulders.  I chose to put a band on the arms and a binding on the neck.  On the bottom I added...
